1. Eriez RevX-E Mach III eccentric eddy current separator. Eriez of Erie, Pennsylvania, has introduced the RevX-E Mach III, a new eccentric eddy current separator offering these features:

  • cantilevered frame design allows for 10-minute belt changes
  • a new rack and pinion splitter adjustment mechanism and direct drive component for more efficient operation

2. Genesis Attachments Jaw Armor. Superior, Wisconsin-based Genesis Attachments has introduced the Jaw Armor weld-on, modular system for severe-duty contractor grapples, offering:

  • abrasion-resistant, proprietary GenGuard steel construction
  • virtually eliminates the need for buildup and hard-surfacing of protected wear areas
  • full and tine kits available
  • suitable for use on new and existing Genesis contractor grapples
  • also available for new and existing Genesis shears

3. SwissRTec Kubota vertical shredder. Kensington, New Hampshire-based swissRTec America Inc. has introduced the Kubota vertical shredder for processing automotive shredder residue (ASR). According to the company, the shredder can be used as a stand-alone unit or in combination with other processing technologies and features:

  • the ability to process large and small domestic appliances, metal scrap and other bulky items to 1 inch or less in a single pass
  • an output particle size of ¼-inch when processing ASR
  • choke rings allow for adjustment of particle size, eliminating screens
  • continuous operation
  • various models, sizes and power options

4. WSM Titan trommel screen. West Salem Machinery (WSM), Salem, Oregon, has introduced the Titan trommel screen, which offers these features:

  • ultra-heavy-duty rotary drum screen designed for severe-duty screening applications requiring high throughput and reliable operation
  • 6-, 8- and 10-foot-diameter drum size available with lengths from 25 feet to 63 feet
  • modular and interchangeable dual-trunnion wheel mounts with self-adjusting pivot point to handle shock loading and allow for easy access and maintenance
  • adjustable cleaning brushes for improved screening efficiency
  • modular screen design for use with wire mesh or perforated plate screens, allowing multiple screening zones and quick screen changes
