1.) Heil Environmental LowLift Cable Hoist. Heil Environmental, based in Chattanooga, Tenn., has introduced its LowLift cable hoist, designed for areas with low overhead clearance. Features include:
- A hinged tail serves as a loading platform and a lower loading height and container angle are designed to reduce clearance issues
- A single cable sheave attached to the carriage travels the length of the hoist, powered by a 7-inch telescopic cylinder

2.) Pallmann Tiger Shredder. Germany-based equipment manufacturer The Pallmann Group’s Tiger single-shaft shredder was originally developed for reprocessing tires but can be used in numerous applications. Features include:
- Rotor blades and wear segments on the rotors last for more 80,000 tons of material processing, the company claims
- No pre-cutting of tires into the normal shreds of 4 inches by 4 inches or 6 inches by 6 inches
- The standard size model, the PSRT 1000 x 1250, achieves an average throughput of 3.5 tons per hour with a final particle size of 0.6 inches

3.) Volvo Wheel Loaders. The L110G and L120G wheel loaders are the latest additions to the Volvo flagship G-Series range. Features include:
- 25 percent more lifting force, a 15 percent increase in breakout force and lower fuel consumption than previous models
- Fitted with a six-cylinder, turbocharged V-ACT (Volvo Advanced Combustion Technology) Tier 4i-certified off-highway diesel engine that is married to drive train, hydraulics and lifting system

4.) Mogensen-G Sizer. The Mogensen-G Sizer, available from ALMO Process Technology, Liberty Township, Ohio, is a patented compact machine that offers high screening efficiency within a wide range of applications, including glass. Features include:
- Driven by a single vibrator that gives it the typical elliptical motion pattern that counteracts blinding and loosens and stratifies the feed material
- Manufactured with up to five decks
- Compact design and accessibility to the screen cloths and the vibrator contribute to less downtime
