1. Cardinal Scale Scrapper Series. Cardinal Scale, Webb City, Missouri, has introduced the Scrapper Series medium-duty NTEP (National Type Evaluation Program) legal-for-trade scales, offering these features, the company says:
- built for scrap yards and recycling centers
- uses the proven PSC high-tensile-strength, prestress concrete deck weighbridge that is 10 feet wide with lengths of up to 52.5 feet
- offered in capacities ranging from 25 tons to 45 tons, for midsized trucks and pickup trucks pulling trailers
- optional guide rails, weight indicators, remote displays, unattended kiosks and vehicle recording software available

2. CECOR cart dumping frame. CECOR, based in Verona, Wisconsin, offers a dumping frame for its heavy-duty carts, allowing elevated, rotational dumping of fully loaded carts. Product features, according to CECOR, include:
- secured to an overhead hook hoist or forklift truck
- can be adjusted to accommodate load weights
- a simple pull on the lanyard triggers the frame to overturn and rotate the cart
- designed to allow safe and easy unloading of heavy carts

3. SwissRTec America delamination milling machine. SwissRTec, Kensington, New Hampshire, a wholly owned subsidiary of SwissRTec International of Switzerland, has introduced what the company says is its largest delamination mill to date, with these features:
- a 6.5-foot rotor diameter and a drive with up to 84 horsepower
- high-capacity mill is designed to liberate and mill preshredded metals for simplified downstream separation
- equipped with high-efficiency drive systems for lower energy costs
- can be part of the SwissRTec SRT2 system incorporating the delamination mill and separation system

4. Vecoplan V-Eco shredders. Vecoplan, Archdale, North Carolina, has introduced the V-Eco line of shredders, which the company says offers these features:
- Vecoplan VFD inverter drives that eliminate gearboxes and fluid couplings, sense tramp metal and stop automatically and match rotor speeds and torque to load volume and material tenacity
- “W” rotors embedded in five rows of cutters are suitable for flexible, fibrous, rigid and bulky materials
- optimized cutting geometry delivers processing precision, particle size consistency and maximum throughput with minimized heat generation
- externally adjustable bed knives allow fast and easy maintenance of cutting efficiency, particularly on thin, flexible materials
