1. Genesis Attachments GXT mobile shears. Genesis Attachments, Superior, Wis., has added the GXT 335 and GXT 995 straight and rotator models to its XT line of mobile shears. The new models offer these features, according to the company:
- bring the company’s XT line of mobile shears to 12 models fitting 27,000- to 180,000-pound excavators
- shorter in length and height and lighter in weight than other models, with a center of gravity that is closer to the excavator
- suitable for mounting on excavators that previously only could carry smaller, less powerful shears
- an apex positioned closer to the back of the jaw designed to improve material gathering, cutting performance and efficiency

2. Artec modular plastic recycling system. New from Zimmer America, Cowpens, S.C., is a modular plastic recycling system made by Artec Machinery GmbH of Austria. System features include:
- produces granulate from film, fiber and polymer foam waste
- modular machine concept facilitates custom recycling system design
- can process agricultural film as well as trimmings from postindustrial new film production or PET (polyethylene terephthalate) packaging
- six modules that include material feeding, cutter-compacting, extruding, degassing, filtration and pelletizing functions
- production capacity ranges from 200 to 2,500 kilograms per hour

3. Columbus McKinnon Hybrid primary shredder. New from Columbus McKinnon, Sarasota, Fla., is the CM Hybrid primary shredder, developed for multiple applications, including the production of tire-derived fuel (TDF). The shredder offers these features:
- the CM Secure Lock system, a new knife group locking technology and advanced bearing protection in which bearings are located outside of the shredding envelope
- interchangeable cutting options
- standard CM knives or new CM shear blades
- twin 75-horsepower motors

4. Benlee roll-off pup trailers. Benlee, a Romulus, Mich.-based manufacturer of truck trailers, has introduced a line of roll-off pup trailers designed to complement the company’s existing trailer line. The pup trailers:
- allow haulers to carry two containers each trip instead of only one
- are available with two or four axles
- are available in “wet” models that include hydraulic lines and cylinders and use the truck’s hydraulic system to load, dump and unload and “dry” models that do not have hydraulics and must be loaded and unloaded with the roll-off truck or trailer
- are available with optional tarp systems and tire auto inflation systems
