2. Maren Engineering ProPAK60 Baler. Maren Engineering, South Holland, Ill., has announced its new ProPAK60 baler. The ProPAK60 is able to bale old corrugated containers (OCC), magazines and newspapers as well as UBCs (used beverage cans) and HDPE and PET plastics. Features include:
- The Smart Bale Technology operating system, which enables operators to customize bale size and weight to maximize shipping efficiency, provides updates on throughput and productivity and keeps track of maintenance

3. Nissan Forklift New GO6 Series. Nissan Forklift Corp., Morengo, Ill., has introduced the GO6 Series to its Platinum line of forklift trucks. Features include:
- Pneumatic tires
- A diesel engine equipped with a turbo charger and a common rail fuel-injection system designed to use the optimal amount of fuel for greater power and fuel economy and reduced nitrogen oxide emission
- An engine protection and warning system that reduces engine rpm when excessive heat is generated
