2013 marks the 50th anniversary of Recycling Today. Founded in 1963 as Secondary Raw Materials magazine, much has changed since we began covering the recycling industry, from processing techniques to the composition of the postconsumer recycling stream.
In light of our anniversary, we’ll be celebrating the growth of the recycling industry all year long. We invite you to join us as we look back over the last half century with a new department that will appear in this space for the remainder of 2013, From the Archives. We’ll look at the trends and topics that have been making industry news over the course of our 50-year history.
Our walk to remember also will include a special edition of Recycling Today that will publish this summer. It will include commentary on industry trends and updates on some of the companies we’ve profiled over the years.
