Round2 Expands Ohio Recycling Facility

Move will increase capacity by 300 percent.

Round2 Inc. has relocated its Ohio operations to a larger facility in Grove City, Ohio. The 104,000-square-foot facility is dedicated to processing and recycling of obsolete electronics. The company had been operating out of a 24,000 square-foot facility in Grove City. Jeff Mangels, Round2’s director of marketing, says that as the company grew its business, it realized it needed more space to conduct its business. “We basically picked up everything and moved it to the new facility,” Mangels notes.

In a release announcing the move, Texas-based Round2 says the move will allow the company to increase capacity and deliver its services regionally. The company refurbishes, demanufactures and recycles most types of electronic equipment.

“Moving to this facility not only demonstrates our continued commitment to our growing client base, but also to the people and city administrators of our partner, Grove City," says Paul Adamson, Round2’s vice president of Corporate Development. "As Round2 continues its national expansion, it’s important to make sure that our existing facilities grow to meet client and market needs.”

In addition to its Grove City plant, Round2 has two processing facilities in Texas--one in Coppell, the other in Austin. The Texas plants total 166,000 square feet and encompass the corporate headquarters, a technical operations center and end-of-life processing services.
