MeWa Single-Shaft Pre-Shredder
MeWa Recycling Maschinen und Anlagenbau GmbH, based in Gechingen, Germany, has introduced the AlphaCutter series of slow-running, single-shaft pre-shredders. Features include:
• Designed to process difficult materials with high throughput
• Can process up to 50 metric tons per hour
• Available in three different rotor sizes ranging from 88 inches to 148 inches in length
• The machine’s heavy weight and blade arrangements are designed to ensure stability and vibration-free operation
• Can be supplemented with additional processing equipment, including granulators, conveyors and separation technology
• Also includes a hydraulic repressing device, a central lubrication system and a discharge belt

Bollegraaf Film Grabber
Netherlands-based Bollegraaf Recycling Machinery, a global supplier of sorting installations, has introduced its latest product, the film grabber. Features include:
• A revolving drum with movable spikes designed to mechanically remove plastic film from other materials
• The machine can mechanically remove more than 70 percent of film larger than 8.4 inches by 11.88 inches from other materials.
