SSI Crusher Takes on Quick Compacting Chores
SSI Compaction Systems, a division of SSI Shredding Systems Inc., Wilsonville, Ore., has introduced a new materials compression machine called "The Crusher."
"The Crusher is built for rapid loading and flexible solutions for scrap and recycling commodities generators, landfills, transfer stations, MRFs and industrial recycling operations," the company says.
The mobile compactor features a single cylinder that can process bulk-fed light scrap metals, white goods and other recyclable commodities.
Other features include:

Henry A. Wiltscheck Offers Sorter for Electronics Recycling Applications
Ontario-based Henry A. Wiltschek Inc., manufacturer of “Can-Sort” Air-Less Metal Sorting Technology, has developed a sorting finger system for electronics recyclers that is designed to separate plastics and stainless steel from nonferrous metals.
The system is available in widths from 18 inches to 100 inches and include vibration feeders and adjustable conveyor speed controls. The system’s finger sorting speed also can be adjusted, and a digital read out is also included.
