Eagle Debeader

Tire Resource Systems Inc. has a new tire debeader called the Eagle Debeader. This machine removes the steel beads of the tire, making it easier to break down in the recycling process. The Eagle has a cycle time of less than 20 seconds and is capable of debeading both beads from 75 truck tires or 90 passenger tires per hour. The heavy-duty construction of the Eagle is designed to ensure long, trouble-free performance. The unit is available in a stationary or portable model.

Rieskamp Wash System

Rieskamp Equipment Co. has developed a new automatic wash system to clean recycling totes and bins. The system will wash 360 large wheeled totes or 540 containers per hour. The wash system is developed around an enclosed conveyor. The operator sets up the conveyor for the size to be washed, then loads recycling bins or toters at the unit’s feed end. The conveyor guides the containers through the washer to the discharge area.

Cedarapids Asphalt Recycler

Cedarapids has a new portable, one-piece recycling system that offers complete asphalt and concrete recycling capabilities in a closed-circuit design. The unit features a rotor impactor, a crushing unit, vibrating grizzly feeder with loading hopper, a double-deck incline screen with discharge chutes, and blending gates capable of producing various products.

Hycor Grit Separator

Hycor Corp. has expanded its Gritmaster line of separators based on a new spiral technology design. The Gritmaster operates automatically, on timed cycles, to settle out grit and other heavy material from slurries that have been pumped or dredged into it. Once settling is complete, the unit’s heavy-duty spiral conveys the grit upward to discharge, dewatering along the way. The unit consists of stainless steel and heavy-duty carbon steel construction, with no submerged bottom bearings.

Stanley Pedestal Boom

Stanley Hydraulic Tools introduces a new line of Pedestal Boom Systems designed to increase productivity. The line is ideal for use in mining, solid waste transfer and more, according to the company. The boom provides a horizontal reach ranging from 12 to 25 feet, and it is available in six stationary models and one self-contained unit. All models feature "rack and pinion" rotation which increases the available working area while minimizing unit drift.

Vincent Screw Press

Vincent Corp. has developed a 10-inch dewatering screw press that carries an input rating of up to 8,000 pph. A variety of drives are available for slippery materials such as floor drain waste, and for difficult dewatering applications such as thick paper stock. The press comes with wedgewire screens that have thinner slots than are available with perforated metal screens, so they allow finer filtration. Rental units are available.

Prab Belt Conveyor

Prab Conveyors has improved the features of its Pivot Belt conveyors. The key design feature is a unique belt that effectively conveys and elevates sticky meal stamping scrap. Because of this field-proven design feature, these conveyers are ideally suited for thin gauge metal trim scrap and stamping slugs, according to the company. The overlapping hinged pans pivot and swing freely, thus providing the positive discharge of the scrap.

Haahjem Trommel Screen

Haahjem North America Inc. announces a new addition to its line of recycling machinery, the PRO-10 Mobile Trommel Screen. The PRO-10 is a portable screening plant, small enough to be moved with a pickup. Setup of this unit is simple – the operator starts the motor, extends the machine’s hydraulic legs to operating height, and removes the pickup. The operator then adjusts the trommel speed and tilt, feed speed, and flail speed to suit the material at hand.

Integrated Board Recycler

Integrated Technology System has introduced the Compushear, a compact, self-contained unit for recycling printed circuit boards. The device effectively slices off the refined components of the circuit board and stores them for processing while the plastic board itself is ejected out one end. Compushear uses standard 208V, three-phase power and compressed air.

Porta-King Modulars

Porta-King Building Systems now has the Pivot-Lock and Panel-King, modular building systems that provide a host of features to increase the operational flex- ibility of recycling and resource recovery operations. These systems help keep structure and construction costs to a minimum, and the panels can be easily and quickly disassembled. The panels are reusable and can be moved from site to site.

Trak Telescopic Handler

Trak International has a new telescopic handler, the 5028HT (HI TORQ). This handler is designed to provide more power and traction in adverse soil conditions due to its innovative gear box that provides both high and low gear ranges for improved performance and operating flexibility. The low gear range adds extra power for climbing slopes and improved traction when operating in mud, dirt or sand. Its maximum drawbar pull is increased by 70 percent and the maximum speed is almost 15 mph.

Nissan Truck Guide

Nissan has a new easy-to-use selection guide to help users of narrow-aisle trucks to choose the best truck for each application. The selection guide shows truck users how to use the Economic Life Cycle and the Duty Work Cycle of a truck as selection tools. The guide also lists trucks, applications and human factors that should be considered during the selection process.

Innovator Tumble Grinder

Innovator Manufacturing Inc. introduces its new Model 1042 Tumble Grinder, featuring a patented prescreen-

ing process that separates dirt, sand and any other material out of feedstock prior to grinding. The 1042 uses four 110-pound hammers, each with dual replaceable tips, that swing 360 degrees on their pins.

Metorex Emission Analyzer

Metorex Instruments has a new portable ARC-MET Mobile Optical Emission Analyzer for use in the field. The instrument provides lab-quality positive alloy material identification, including the analysis of carbon in steels. Sulfur and phosphorus can also be measured with the same emission lines.
