Lindemann RAM 130 Baler
Lindemann Recycling Equipment Inc. has expanded its line of horizontal balers with the addition of a new, more powerful baler that displaces more than 50,000 cubic feet of material per hour. The unit is designed to be the most productive baler ever made.
The new Lindemann RAM 130 series baler is the ninth model in the company’s RAM I series. The unit features an automatic stamper for jam-free operation of most bulky or compact material grades, uses only five ties without sacrificing compactness and uses less horsepower without compromising productivity for optimum energy efficiency.
Like other Lindemann balers, the RAM 130 is designed to compact secondary fibers, waste paper, PET, HDPE, UBCs, ONP, OCC, mixed paper and a variety of other materials.
Dings Eddy Current Separator
Dings Co. Magnetic Group has introduced a new eddy current separator with a deep field design for removing nonferrous metals from nonmetallic materials. The separator uses rare earth magnets within a magnetic rotor assembly to induce eddy currents, causing the nonferrous metals to separate by repulsion.
Dings Co.’s design for the magnetic rotor assembly and full-size rotor generate a deeper magnetic field than conventional designs. This larger, more powerful magnetic field produces strong eddy currents and repelling forces designed for maximum separating power.
Melroe Skid-Steer Loader
The new long-wheelbase Bobcat 763 skid-steer loader from Melroe Co. combines all of the popular attributes of the 753 with additional operating capacity, lift height and travel speed. With its 46 horsepower, 134-cubic inch (2,2 L) diesel engine, and improved hydraulic performance, the Bobcat 763 also produces greater breakout force for handling larger bucket loads.
The unit features a long wheelbase -- about five inches longer than the 753, along with increased treadwidth. In addition, the Bobcat 763 has a rated operating capacity of 1,500 pounds, a 200 pound increase from the 753. The new loader has a maximum lift height of more than 114 inches.
Abanaki Newsletter
