The separator is designed to separate oil and greasy solids from wastewater.
MAC FLATTENER
MAC Corp. has redesigned its Big MAC mobile auto flattener. The new features include remote control operation, a higher lift that yields a larger crushing chamber, hydraulic landing gear and a wider choice of available power plants. The Big MAC flattener offers a combined crushing force of 286,000 pounds and a cycle time of 45 seconds. The flattener comes with a one-year warranty.
METOREX ANALYZER
Metorex International has a new portable alloy analyzer based on optical emission spectroscopy. Designated the ARC-MET 930, the company says that this instrument is the world’s smallest OES analyzer on the market. The product has a central unit and a probe that allows the user freedom to move while measuring.
VALMET MEASURING DEVICE
Valmet Automation Inc. has a new measurement analyzer, called the Kajaani MCA, for pulp and paper mills. The device uses in-line measurement using microwave propagation to give fast and accurate analysis of total consistencies of both fibers and fillers up to 75 percent, according to the company. This new measurement principle is independent of variables such as turbulence, pressure and flow rate, as well as of application-specific factors such as pulp grade, wood species, fiber length, freeness, brightness and color, in both mechanical and chemical processing.
Measurement occurs between two sensor heads in the process line and is based on the dielectric constants of the process media.
INDUSTRIAL EDDY CURRENT SEPARATOR
Industrial Magnetics Inc. has eddy current separators in three varieties to suit the individual application. Eddy Current Rotors are used where a customer has an existing system in place and wishes to build his own system. Eddy Current Separators consist of the Eddy Current Rotor along with a conveyor belt, two motors and drive systems, bearings, a product splitter, shrouded discharge area and support frame. Eddy Current Separator Systems provide all the above, plus ferrous metal separation equipment.
EXTEC ROBOTIC SCREEN
Extec of North America offers a new product called the Extec Robo-Trac – a mobile tracked screener. The equipment is designed to scalp, screen, convey and stockpile material four times faster than conventional equipment, and is robotically controlled by the loader shovel or excavator operator. The unit can be moved anywhere on the customer’s site without having to engage a towing device.
MA. GRANULATOR
M.A. Industries Inc. offers the M.A. 700 series granulator that is designed to process post-consumer plastic scrap. The rotor is constructed of solid 4140 steel forging and the bearing journals are heat treated for strength and durability.
The unit is available in three- or five-knife open steep angle or open high shear rotor.
CASE WHEEL LOADER
Case Corp. says that its 21B Series wheel loader can now be equipped for use in a wide range of waste recycling and handling applications. The loaders will be sold as Waste Handling Specials, model numbers 621B, 721B, 821B and 921B. The loaders will have special tires and protective shields to enable them to operate in harsh environments.
HAAHJEM BALE SYSTEM
Haahjem North America has a new addition to its line of recycling machinery, called the PRO-10 Tornado Plastic Bale Processing System. The unit processes plastic bales at a minimum rate of 30 bales per hour. The Tornado feeds, breaks, declumps and screens the bales in a single process. The four-in-one concept is also designed to save floor space and capital expense.
LINK-BELT CRANE
Link-Belt Construction Equipment has a new 50-ton capacity RTC-8050 hydraulic rough terrain crane that features a full-power, four-section boom, equal size gear motor winches with grooved drums, Metri-Pak wiring and a Microguard 414 rated capacity limiter. This crane allows the operator to work in confined work areas where full outrigger extension is not possible, says the company.
Cedar Rapids Crusher
Cedar Rapids has a new, eight-page, four-color brochure for its Rollercone II crusher. The brochure is available in English, French, Spanish, Chinese and German. The Rollercone II is designed to provide improved crushing performance using the latest engineering and manufacturing technology.
Portec Donut Screen
Portec Environmental Products introduces its Innovator 250 Donut Screen that can handle compost, topsoil, wood ships, yard waste, C&D material, paper/cardboard, bark, aggregate and mulch, and even wet, sticky material that will "blind" flat-screening equipment, according to the company. The variable-speed, 250-square-foot screen drum can be inclined up to 30 degrees on the fly, and can be moved around the job site without any setup. The 250 is direct loaded from the loader, excavator or conveyor.
Drafto Gravity Latch
Drafto has introduced its new Autolatch, an RF motorized gravity latch for hook blocks on overhead cranes. The Autolatch remotely opens a gravity hook latch for unhooking a load by a wireless remote radio control with a push of a button. The latch automatically closes if power is lost and may be used manually as a standard gravity switch.
Pallet Handler
Air Technical Industries has a new automatic pallet handling machine that will stack pallets, or automatically dispense pallets and deliver them to the desired position. This fully-automatic machine will dispense standard pallets from a stack six feet high and deliver one pallet at a time.
