TLB Loading Systems
The TLB Series of pedestal-mounted boom loading systems has been introduced by Breaker Technology Inc. (formerly Teledyne Specialty Equipment CM Products). The loading systems are designed to adjust payloads and axle distribution characteristics of loads leaving aggregates scale houses. Workers can safely add or remove aggregates from the truck and move material front to back to adjust axle loading.
Grasan Screening Plant
The 620HD-H portable screening plant from Grasan features a Deister 6-feet by 20-feet triple-deck horizontal screen with a three-shaft, between-deck drive unit. The plant also includes a side discharge conveyor, under-screen fines conveyors, a heavy-duty frame and walkways on three sides. The unit’s travel dimensions are 51 feet, four inches in length by 13 feet, six inches high. The plant can be used for concrete recycling operations as well as for quarrying and sand and gravel pit applications.
Komatsu Demolition Excavator
The PC450LCD-6 excavator by Komatsu America International Co. has been designed for demolition and material handling applications. The 306-horsepower excavator uses a new super long front boom to offer an 82-feet maximum work height and over 40 feet of horizontal reach. Easy pin removal of the mid-boom section allows the machine to be used down to ground level, eliminating the need to have two different machines on site.
Bobcat Cutter Crusher
The Bobcat Cutter Crusher attachment is designed to crush concrete and cut round steel, rebar, wire mesh, angle iron and I-beams embedded within concrete. The Cutter Crusher can be attached to both skid steer loaders and compact excavators. The attachment rotates freely 360 degrees, allowing operators to work in smaller work areas such as buildings, garages driveways and bridges.
Schred Max Elevated Shredder
The Schred Max line of shredders by Protoworks Inc. is built to handle a range of construction, demolition, recycling, composting and waste reduction tasks. The remote control operated machines can be powered by either a 40 hp diesel or 50 hp electric motor. Materials are loaded onto the elevated shredder and discharged into a roll-off container placed beneath the Schred Max.
Morbark Twister Chipper
The 2070XL Twister Chipper/Chip Box from Morbark is designed to provide a heavy-duty mid-range chipper that does not require a specially outfitted truck to travel with it. The chipper is mounted on a 180-degrees rotating turntable, so it can be fed from either side. An air impeller discharges light, leafy material while vents in the chip box reduce dust blow-back.
Re-Tech Quick Screen
Re-Tech, a Terex Company, is now offering a patented quick change system for screens used in its family of trommels. The Quick Screen system allows fungus-resisting screens to be changed in 40 minutes. Screen opening sizes range from 3/8-of an inch to one inch.
Esco ES35 Eliminator Hammer
The ES35 and other hammer models from Esco Corp. are designed for use on backhoe loaders and smaller excavators for general demolition of concrete up to 30 inches thick. The hammers feature an internally-sleeved, one-piece cast case that is resistant to prying loads. A cast nose ring that attaches mechanically protects the nose of the case and enables the user to use the case and nose to move material around, maximizing demolition productivity.
