FFC Skid Steer Brooms

FFC Inc. has added to its Cyclone line of broom attachments for skid steers. A new 84 inches wide model has been added, as has a 96 inches wide angle broom. The brooms are designed to allow recyclers and other users to perform clean-up duties on parking lots, curbsides, roadways and other areas in less time. The brooms feature long bristles to extend their lives and a storage stand to keep bristles off the ground if the broom is not in use.

JWS Scale Ticketing System

JWS Corp. has released the Windows upgrade of its scale ticketing and billing software for recycling, aggregates and solid waste operations. The new Apex system connects directly to digital scales to read truck weights and generate scale tickets. Different reporting and ticket formats are available from JWS.

Mee Industries Dust Suppression System

A dust suppression system offered by Mee Industries produces microscopic water droplets that attract airborne dust particles and remove them as a breathing hazard. The five-to-10 micron sized droplets combine with dust, increasing the weight of the dust so it sinks to the floor. The process efficiently traps dust emissions with the goals of reducing cleanup expenses, equipment damage, health hazards and regulatory concerns.

Tomra Duo Reverse Vending Machine

Tomra of North America has introduced a new reverse vending machine designed for smaller retail applications. The DUO model from Tomra is designed for convenience stores and other small retailers in deposit-return states who redeem 20,000 containers or less per month. The model, which scans, collects and compacts non-refillable cans and PET bottles, runs on a standard 120-volt electric connection.

American Baler Touch Screen

The Pathfinder touch screen from American Baler Co. is designed to improve ease of baler operation and improve the productivity of baling operations. The Pathfinder is a touch screen with user-friendly graphics that guide operators through the set-up process, system monitoring, trouble shooting and product change-over. Settings for the conveyor, tie machine, fluffer and the bale size can be made at the Pathfinder, which also monitors input and output of the baler, collects data and keeps a bale count.

Svedala Scorpion Crushing Plant

The new RU H4000 Scorpion is a mobile crushing plant from Svedala Industries. The fully mobile plant features two vibrating screens, a hydrocone crusher, two conveyors and a vibrating chute. The Scorpion is a secondary crushing plant that is fully assembled on a single trailer frame built to accommodate frequent moves between job sites.

NYE Digital Concrete Pulverizer

The NYE Digital Concrete Pulverizer from National Attachments features a four-position single-digit ripper. The digital pulverizer has “four-over-five” jaws with replaceable jaw inserts and can be adjusted to select optimum jaw openings for a variety of material sizes. The ripper allows the operator to sort, index and manipulate a wide variety of materials found on a demolition job site.

Condc Digital Weight Indicator

The UMC222 digital weight indicator from Condec can be used with bench, floor and truck scales to provide the time and date, sequential numbering and a weight indication with precision up to ten digits. The stainless steel indicator is designed to withstand abusive environments and the wash-down process, as well as being calibrated and stabilized to endure high-vibration exposure.
