Eriez SEV series electromagnets
Erie, Pennsylvania-based Eriez has launched its SEV series of suspended electromagnets, which feature stronger magnets housed in smaller enclosures, reducing overall weight and installation costs while optimizing performance efficiency. The SEV series electromagnets:
- are integrated into the Eriez SE7000 line, leveraging new wire and conductor technologies to energize the magnet circuit
- require less coolant for operation
- feature a new wire configuration that uses an ultrathin anodized insulation layer for superior thermal conductivity, ensuring high heat dissipation within the circuit for improved performance include self-cleaning versions of all SEV models
- can be customized with additional features, such as dust hoods, coils derated for elevation, high fire point coolants, armor-clad belts and more

Mecalac 12MTX wheeled excavator-loaders
The Norfolk, Massachusetts, office of French compact equipment maker Mecalac is offering its 12MTX wheeled excavator-loader to the North American market. The 12MTX wheeled excavator-loader:
- combines the capabilities of a compact excavator, loader and telehandler into a single machine that excels at digging, loading and material handling
- eliminates the need for multiple pieces of equipment on the job site in industries such as construction, demolition, on-site recycling, roadbuilding, landscaping, utility tunneling and forestry/tree care
- has a three-piece, variable angle, side-mounted boom that provides the 12MTX with compactness and range of motion
- can reach a top speed of 20 mph, giving it the ability to navigate job sites quickly
- is capable of lifting up to 4 tons
- the engine is positioned in the rear, removing the counterweight, for improved freedom of handling and movement
