Suwanee, Georgia-based Develon has introduced its next-generation tool-carrier wheel loader models in the United States and Canada. These new models conclude the -7 Series wheel loader introductions for the company. The DL200TC-7 and DL250TC-7 tool-carrier models:
- have a parallel-lift linkage system that gives operators precise control over a variety of attachments in applications other than loading, such as lift-and-place tasks
- come with a lift-arm design that keeps the attachment level, enabling fast lifting and placing of materials
- can be equipped with an optional hydraulic quick coupler to easily change nonhydraulic attachments, including different types of buckets and pallet forks
- feature increased visibility down the center of the parallel-lift arms, allowing operators to clearly see the ground, truck or work area in front of the machine
- include an 8-inch Smart Touch display inside the cab
- have load-sensing hydraulics that improve fuel efficiency by adjusting hydraulic flow to optimal levels based on working conditions

France-based Arden Equipment has introduced the QA Series 3 quick-hitch model, designed to enable fast attachment changes at job sites. The Series 3 quick-hitch system:
- enables and simplifies the quick change of different attachments on a hydraulic excavator or material handler
- has self-locking quick couplers that fit all excavators up to 12 metric tons
- is equipped with a safety pad on the front axle, while the safety paddle serves as a locking indicator
- is available with different options, including integrated tongue hooks or a hydraulic circuit kit

Komatsu PC900LC-11 excavators.
The North American business unit of Japan’s Komatsu recently displayed its PC900LC-11 excavator at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2023. The rugged and versatile 842-horsepower machine is based on the company’s PC800LC-8 model. It offers:
- an increase in productivity of up to 40 percent compared with similar models, 25 percent more digging force and 12 percent more swing torque
- a new counterweight removal system that makes the large machine easier to move
- a boom configuration that reduces transport height
- a new service pass-through area that allows easy access to filters, oil level checks and sample ports
- the KomVision camera system, a 360-degree monitoring system that uses six cameras to provide a real-time view of an operator’s surroundings
