- separates work-hardened stainless steel and purifies zurik fractions
- has a patent pending magnetic grid core design
- has a long-lasting urethane belt with 3/16-inch steel sideguards
- features custom sizes up to 72 inches wide by 120 inches long
- has an optional variable frequency drive
- can be equipped with an optional splitter to separate stainless steel from nonmagnetic material

Vecoplan VSA 250 T bag opener
Recyclables or household waste collected in bags must be continuously and reliably fed into sorting processes. Vecoplan, High Point, North Carolina, has developed the VSA 250 T bag opener for this demand. The bag opener:
- can be loaded via belt conveyors, shovel grabs or wheel loaders
- is designed to gently opens bags and empty them
- has a cutting unit that consists of hammers welded onto the two rotors that operate inside the machine’s large, open cutting frame
- achieves a throughput rate of 35 tons per hour with a bulk density of around 3 pounds per cubic feet

Alliance Tire Group Galaxy Hulk Deep-Tread SDS tire
The Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Alliance Tire Group (ATG) has introduced the Galaxy Hulk Deep-Tread SDS, a skid-steer tire featuring what ATG calls a “massive block tread pattern.” The Galaxy Hulk Deap-Tread SDS is:
- the latest addition to the Galaxy severe duty solid (SDS) line
- available in 30-inch-by-10-inch-by-16-inch and 33-inch-by-12-inch-by-16-inch sizes—with and without apertures
- designed with a 68 percent rubber-to-void ratio

D&S granulator knives
Southbridge, Massachusetts-based D&S Manufacturing, a division of Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions (IBS), says its granulator knives have been designed for high performance in the plastic, rubber and recycling industries. D&S Manufacturing says the knives are:
- machined to exacting tolerances for higher productivity and longer life under the toughest conditions
- suitable for recycling plastic bottles, tires, trash cans, car parts or nonferrous metals
- comprised of moly-chrome, super moly-chrome, D2 steel, M2 tool steel, CPM (crucible particle metallurgy) 10V tool steel, PGK tool steel and other metals and alloys
