Livingston, New Jersey-based Franklin Miller has introduced its Taskmaster QS Quad-Shaft shredders, which it says are engineered to meet the demands of the most challenging applications. The new Taskmaster QS Quad-Shaft shredders:

  • are sizing shredders designed for applications that require consistent particle sizing
  • feature low-speed and high-torque functionality to process a wide range of materials, from bulky waste to industrial byproducts
  • can handle ripping, tearing and shredding with precision
  • have four shafts that work together with a special sizing screen to reduce materials to a uniform output size
  • includes the QS2300 model that features hardened precision cutters, a special sizing screen, planetary reducers, an optional stand and hopper and rugged hex shafts and gears

MDS M518R compact recycling trommels

MDS, a screening equipment manufacturer and a brand of Norwalk, Connecticut-based Terex Corp., has launched the M518R compact recycling trommel, which includes a new suite of features and benefits designed to elevate performance and efficiency. The M518R compact recycling trommel:

  • can screen a variety of materials, including compost, biomass, green and municipal waste and more
  • features a 180-degree radial fines conveyor and offers efficient material handling, providing a radial stockpile capacity of up to 650 cubic meters
  • ensures straightforward transportation with its compact dimensions and efficient folding mechanism of the radial conveyor, fitting neatly onto a standard 26-foot-long trailer
  • includes a remote-controlled conveyor swivel, enabling operators to easily adjust positioning while minimizing downtime
  • allows for easier service access compared with the previous generation of trommels, setting a high standard for accessibility and ease of maintenance

  • feature universal connectivity by leveraging Power over Ethernet to simplify installation, reduce cabling costs and seamlessly integrate with the Kaeser Sigma Network
  • are versatile, allowing use across applications, eliminating the need for multiple vendors while simplifying system management
  • include real-time data streaming from the energy and flow analyzers
  • allow for actionable insights from specific data points that can trigger automated actions within the compressed air station
  • are able to integrate KMT data with the Kaeser Sigma Air Manager 4.0, while Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU connectivity allow for integration with a customer’s existing industrial and building automation system
