Lefort track-mounted shear/baler/loggers
Belgium-based Lefort, with U.S. headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, has released what it says is the first track-mounted shear/baler/logger. The self-propelled machine:
- offers immediate operability once it arrives in the yard
- requires no foundation
- operates via remote control, meaning only one operator is needed to control the machine and its complementary material handler
- features a compact design that allows it to be transported on a standard trailer

Vecoplan MST shredding trucks
Vecoplan LLC, Archdale, North Carolina, has expanded its family of shredding truck models with the MST line, offering these features:
- equipped with general purpose shredders
- initially offered in two models—a 33,000 gross vehicle weight (GVW) CDL (commercial driver’s license) and a non-CDL 26,000 GVW
- available with various chassis-cab brands
- Philadelphia-based Axo’s Fatso 500-16 shredders, which Vecoplan describes as “a proven and technologically superior design when it comes to ‘pierce and tear’ shredders”
- produced exclusively in Vecoplan’s North Carolina plant

Dust Control Technology odor treatment distributor
The OdorBoss 60G (OB-60G) by Dust Control Technology (DCT), Peoria, Illinois, uses a specially engineered mist that distributes odor treatment agents over great distances, according to the company. DCT says the OB-60G also features:
- a fan to generate wind movement, propelling the treatment into the air, where it is designed to attach to odor vapor
- a finer mist that is better suited to optimum odor control
- a mobile unit that can cover large areas of odor-causing material
- dispenses air treatment chemicals, such as the OB line of deodorizers
- uses water vapor as a delivery vehicle
