Fairfield, Ohio-based Force Control Industries offers its Posidyne X-Class Clutch Brakes for incline conveyor applications. The brakes provide precise positioning in each cycle and act as a holding brake, so material never slides backward on the incline. Posidyne X-Class Clutch Brakes:
- allow cycle rates as high as 300 per minute and a service life of 20 to 40 million cycles to increase production rates with lower downtime
- feature oil shear technology, allowing them to last up to 10 times longer than standard dry friction brakes
- do not require maintenance, adjustment or disc replacement
- have an innovative split-clamped quill feature, designed to reduce shaft and key/keyway damage to the motor shaft associated with competitive clutches or brakes
- are oil-filled and sealed so they do not rust
