Develon DX89R-7 mini excavators
Suwanee, Georgia-based Develon has upgraded its compact equipment offering with the DX89R-7 mini excavator, which is now available in the U.S. and Canada. The machine replaces the DX85R-3 and includes many of its predecessor’s features while adding greater lifting capacity and horsepower. Develon DX89R-7 mini excavators:
- come equipped with a Develon engine and diagnostics tool and a reduced tail-swing feature, permitting more power in cramped, congested work sites
- are powered by a Tier 4-compliant D24 diesel engine
- can include auxiliary hydraulic flow for operators who use hydraulic-powered attachments
- have an increased operating weight and a new counterweight design that can provide better stability for increased lifting capacity
- offer air conditioning and improved vents throughout the cab, as well as heated seats and fold-up pedals
- come standard with the 8-inch Smart Touch screen

Superior, Wisconsin-based Genesis Attachments LLC has introduced the GDT 890 Razer Demolition Tool. The GDT 890:
- fits 180,000-pound and larger excavators
- features an industry-leading 64-inch jaw opening with a 62-inch jaw depth
- has 13 feet of reach, making it suitable for high-reach demolition projects
- is a versatile tool for jobs of different sizes and applications

Eggersmann Z 50 E shredders
Eggersmann, a Germany-based company, has introduced its Z 50 E shredder, a high-torque, single-shaft machine. The company says it is the industry’s first 100-percent-emissions-free mobile shredder on tracks.
The Eggersmann Z 50 E:
- is equipped with a radio remote control system and a battery pack
- has a rotor diameter of 3.4 feet and a length of 10 feet
- can be used indoors without any emissions
- has interchangeable shredding tools available and an optional screen basket system with different hole sizes
- can shred organic scrap, such as wood, roots or logs, as well as solar panels, tires, bulky scrap, mattresses, municipal solid waste, commercial or household scrap, mixed construction and demolition scrap and more
