Shred-Tech DDS Plant-Based Information Destruction Systems. Shred-Tech, Cambridge, Ontario, has introduced its new DDS Systems. The DDS Systems are available in four models and can interface with existing equipment. Other features include:

Gehl Solid Rubber Tires. Gehl Co., West Bend, Wis., has developed a new solid rubber tire available for its DL Series and RS Series Telescopic Handlers. Features include:

  • Last up to four times as long as standard pneumatic and foam-filled tires
  • Tires will never puncture, blow-out or go flat, thus reducing down-time and increasing productivity
  • Single-aperture holes, which provide shock absorption for a more comfortable ride
  • Extra large tapered lugs for enhanced traction and maximum wear life
  • Long-wearing tread compound that resists cutting and chunking
  • Superior stability on improved and unimproved surfaces

PowerScreen’s Chieftain 1700. The highly mobile two- and three-deck Powerscreen Chieftain 1700 from Powerscreen Terex Crushing and Screening, Louisville, Ky., can separate up to six products and is specifically designed to fit into the mid-range bracket between Chieftain 1400 and 2100 models. Other features include:

·        Adjustable high amplitude two-bearing screen action exposes material to varying amplitudes and G forces

·        Hydraulic screen angle adjustment varies the material travel rate over the screen deck to provide the cleanest product

·        Four integral hydraulically folding stockpile conveyors transport with the machine, eliminating the need for any lifting devices to put the plant into working mode
