NATIONAL ATTACHMENTS RAPTOR The Raptor from National Attachments Inc./NYE Mfg. is a combination shear-grapple designed for C&D applications: • The tool can shear, crush and densify wood products, sheet rock, metal studs, shingles, waste and other debris. • It is constructed of multi-alloy steels and contains serrated jaws, allowing it to densify and load in a single pass. • Designed to go with machines weighing more than 28,000 pounds, the Raptor comes complete with its own mounting bracket and can be installed in as little as two hours. TRAMAC TCH CUTTING HEAD The TCH Cutting Head is a rotating double-drum rock and concrete cutting head offered by Tramac Corp. • The attachment is designed to offer accurate profiling and minimal vibrations and noise for the demolishing and pulverizing of concrete, making ideally suited for sensitive locations such as in residential areas or on bridges. • The durable, replaceable cutting teeth come in different sizes and lacing patterns. • Precise excavation and cutting capabilities make the TCH Cutting Head ideal for sites where environmental factors make hydraulic hammers inadvisable. MORBARK TILT HOPPER FEATURE The Model 4000-P Coloring System form Morbark Inc. now comes with a heavy-duty tilt hopper. • The hydraulic tilt function allows easy clean-out of the top hopper by simply dumping material. • The 4000-P produces consistently colored wood waste in a wide variety of pigments at rates exceeding 200 cubic yards per hour. • The 4000-P can be placed as an addition to an existing grinding and/or screening operation. FLECO CLAMSHELL BUCKET The FL605 Clamshell Bucket from FLECO is ideal for excavating and material handling applications. Features include: • An integrated pressure-limiting valve, which ensures constant operating pressure regardless of line pressure. • A bucket made of high tensile, fine grain steel with forged steel cutting edges. • Horizontally positioned cylinders that reduce overall attachment height. INTEGRATED WASTE SOLUTIONS PORTABLE C&D COMPACTOR A gas-fired, 40-cubic-yards field-portable compactor and box unit designed specifically for C&D debris is being marketed by Integrated Waste Solutions to dramatically reduce the number of hauls per job: • The compactor can cut hauling charges by a factor of three, four or even five to one, compared to 30-cubic-yards open top containers that are typically used at C&D sites. • The units are ideal for wood, ceiling tile, drywall, cardboard boxes and other compressible debris. • The ultra heavy-duty compactors and receiving boxes are welded onto skids so they can be easily loaded onto a truck, similar to open top containers. The compactor works with standard 40-cubic-yards enclosed receiving boxes, which attach to the compactor’s ratchet binders. Haulers service the units the same way they do stationary compactors. Loegering Tracks for Skid Steers Loegering’s specially designed high-performance tracking systems for skid-steers give the skid-steer more traction and floatation in adverse conditions, and increase the overall productivity of the machine: • The hammer-forged steel pad is wear-resistant. • Durable, replaceable v-shaped pads are self-cleaning and give exceptional control. • The tracks are designed for less rutting and compaction and have a smooth running double-pivot design. They extend tire life and are easy on the drive train. • Tracks attach quickly and easily with a customized installation tool. After initial installation, Loegering’s track system allows customers to reinstall the track in less than 30 minutes. The tracks are fully adjustable and rebuildable.
