PreZero US Inc., headquartered in Jurupa Valley, California, has named Clemens Stockreiter as its CEO as of Sept. 1. Former CEO Hernan de la Vega has transitioned to work in an international management position with Schwarz Group, which is a retail trading company based in Neckarsulm, Germany, that serves as PreZero’s parent company.
Stockreiter joined PreZero as part of the company’s acquisition of Sky Plastic Group in 2019.
According to a news release from PreZero US, Stockreiter has more than 20 years of experience within the plastic recycling and packaging industry. Prior to this appointment, he was responsible for the PreZero plastics recycling business in Italy and Austria and was head of business unit for PreZero Polymers Europe since 2020.
“I am excited to build on the momentum generated by Hernan de la Vega and the rest of the PreZero US team over the past four years,” Stockreiter says. “We will continue to pursue our goals of pioneering solutions for plastic and organic waste.”
