Tube City Announces Two Promotions
Tube City IMS has promoted Electa Boyle to vice president of financial operations and corporate controller and Kirk Peters to vice president, treasurer and principal accounting officer.

Peters joined the company in 2005, while Boyle joined Tube City last year.

Both executives are based at the Tube City’s Glassport, Pa., headquarters.

Bunting Magnetics Announces Promotion
Bunting Magnetics, based in Newton, Kan., has announced that Ron Henricks has been named product manager of metal detection.

“The metal detection product line has been strong for us in terms of sales and overall importance to the company,” says Robert J. Bunting, the company’s owner and CEO. “Rod brings a wealth of sales, customer service and management experiences which will help us expand what we can offer our customers.”

As the product manager of metal detection, Henricks will be responsible for the line of metal detection equipment that protects against ferrous and nonferrous metals, including product models that are specifically designed for free-flowing gravity-fed products, pneumatically conveyed materials, materials on conveyor belts and even liquids. In addition, the company says Henricks will oversee the growth of the metal detection service department which offers customers service either by phone or through field visits. He will be responsible for the product line’s worldwide sales effort and new product development.

Henricks, holds a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from Wichita State University and brings more than 20 years of experience in the automotive and magnetic products industries.
