CP Group names Ouellet Director of System Sales
CP Group, National City, Calif., has appointed Hans Ouellet as director of the newly created CP Group Systems sales department. Ouellet and his team will be responsible for system development and sales for the CP Group of companies.
CP Manufacturing and Krause Manufacturing systems will be coupled with MSS optical sorting equipment and IPS balers to develop what the CP Group calls in its news release “turnkey solutions.”
“The systems we will be promoting are for material recovery facilities,” says Ouellet. “We can provide turnkey service for single-stream, MSW (municipal solid waste), C&D (construction and demolition), C&I (commercial and industrial), RDF (refuse-derived fuel) or waste-to-energy facilities from design and manufacture to installation. This will be a real team effort to ensure that every customer has access to the type of equipment that will work for them without having to shop around.”
Ouellet joined CP Manufacturing in 1997 as a sales engineer and has gained experience in the design of dual-stream and single-stream systems as well as in C&D, waste-to-energy, RDF and C&I applications.
“We can design a system for virtually any waste stream, integrating equipment from our four companies as well as any existing or third-party items, which assures a smooth and efficient flow of material,” Ouellet states.
The CP Group consists of CP Manufacturing, Krause Manufacturing, MSS Inc. and IPS Balers.

Bosco, Galbraith OpenRecy Systems Inc. Office
Recycling software industry veteran Frank Bosco has been named CEO and general manager of RECY Systems Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of Germany’s RECY Systems AG.
Bosco has been a long-time reseller of RECY’s scrap industry software through V.S. Bosco Co. Inc., the family business started 40 years ago by his father Vincent S. Bosco in Collegeville, Pa., according to a company press release. He has been with the family company for more than 20 years.
Bosco joins recycling software industry veteran, Larry Galbraith, who has been named chief financial officer of RECY Systems Inc. He headed RECY Systems software in the North American market from the mid-1990s to 2001 when it was known as the Klarmann + Partner software firm.
“When RECY Systems AG was looking to create an expanded presence in the North American market, they determined that it made sense to have two veterans to help guide the sales and marketing efforts,” Bosco says.
Bosco and Galbraith, who will both work from the RECY Systems office in Collegeville, say they are looking forward to raising RECY Systems’ profile in North America in 2010.
“I’m very happy to be appointed to this position and to use my knowledge of the scrap industry and my contacts as a basis to promote this product,” says Bosco. “It’s a great product that has an 80 percent market share in parts of Europe. We want to grow the market share in the United States.” Adds Galbraith, “We have approximately 20,000 people who use our software daily at more than 400 companies worldwide.”
The Collegeville, Pa., office joins offices RECY Systems AG established in the past two years in Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom as it increases its global footprint.
