Exodus Machines Announces Staff Changes
Exodus Machines, a Superior, Wis.-based manufacturer of material handlers for the scrap and waste markets, has named four members to director positions within the company, according to a press release.
Adam Bennis has been appointed director of engineering. Bennis comes to Exodus with considerable engineering experience, most recently as project engineer for a forestry heavy equipment manufacturer. As director of engineering, Bennis oversees all engineering-related efforts at Exodus.
Erik Finstad has been named director of finance. Finstad oversees all of corporate accounting and finance, IT, legal, insurance, banking relationships and interaction with state and federal agencies. Before coming to Exodus, he was a business development consultant to Dover Corp., and chief financial officer for Anderson Lubricants Inc., based in Superior.
Marisa Ring has been named director of human resources and publications. Prior to assuming her position at Exodus, Ring spent eight years as a technical writer/marketing assistant and as a customer service representative at Genesis Attachments, also of Superior.
Justin Bacon has been appointed director of procurement. He is also a veteran of Genesis Attachments, where he headed the company’s rebuild program. He is responsible for overseeing material procurement, shipping/receiving and inventory control.

E-Z Pack Manufacturing Names Podell President
E-Z Pack Manufacturing LLC, a Cynthia, Kan.-based manufacturer of refuse truck bodies and parts, has named Greg Podell president and chief executive officer. Podell most recently served as COO at Wastequip Inc., where he was responsible for steering the organization toward improved production methodologies, product standardization and financial results.
“Greg has proven himself to be an effective corporate strategist and a strong leader of people and processes,” says James Possehl, E-Z Pack chairman. “He is well-suited to help E-Z Pack continue to build on its market momentum and reputation for customer-driven innovations.”
Bunting Magnetics Adds to Staff
Bunting Magnetics Co., headquartered in Newton, Kan., has announced the addition of David Briggs and Clint Pitts as new service technicians to its metal detection department.
“We are rapidly expanding our service capabilities to provide constant technical support for customers,” says Rod Henricks, Bunting product manager – metal detection. “Our service team helps our customers remain productive by either providing solutions quickly over the phone or by being on site in a rapid manner to solve any issues,” he adds. “Both David and Clint will be able to help Bunting increase our service commitment to our customers.”
Both Briggs, a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, and Pitts, a petty officer, first class, in the U.S. Navy, bring extensive avionics and electrical engineering backgrounds to their roles.
In his last role, Briggs was maintenance supervisor at Fort Hood in Texas. Briggs managed the maintenance for 24 Longbow Apache helicopters and his role included the supervision of 25 maintenance personnel.
Pitts recently worked as an aviation maintenance manager at both Aerotek Aviation and Cessna Aircraft, based in Wichita, Kan. Prior to that, Clint served 10 years in the U.S. Navy in aviations maintenance with a focus on electrical, instrument and power systems.
