Tomra of North America, Stratford, Conn., has named Val Stalowir as its new president. Stalowir will be responsible for operations and business development at the packaging recycling systems company. He has previously worked in marketing and management positions at Coca-Cola, Quaker Oats and Unilever.

Terex Corp., Westport, Conn., has made several personnel changes after its acquisition of Powerscreen International.
Don Campbell has been named managing director of the Terex Powerscreen screening and crushing business worldwide. That segment of the business includes Powerscreen, Finlay, BL Pegson, Brown-Lennox, Simplicity, Royer and CPV products.
Colin Robertson has been promoted to managing director of Terex Construction worldwide. Robertson has been with Terex since 1994 and most recently held the position of managing director of TEL. Terex Construction includes TEL, Terex U.K., Terex Americas and Benford.
CLARK MATERIAL HANDLING CO.
Clark Material Handling Co., Lexington, Ky., announced that Barry Langridge was named as president and managing director of Clark North America. Langridge will oversee the company’s operations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico in this newly created position.
Langridge has almost 30 years of experience in operations, manufacturing and dealer development and has also worked for Volvo Trucks North America.
GARDEN STATE PAPER CO.
Garden State Paper Co., Elmwood Park, N.J., has named John Stanton as the company’s new director of procurement services. Stanton replaces Clare C. Mullett, who is retiring after 22 years with Garden State.
Stanton joined Garden State in 1990 as a procurement product manager. Prior to joining Garden State Paper he was a product manager at the Wagner Division of Cooper Industries.
E. L. HARVEY & SONS INC.
E.L. Harvey & Sons Inc., Westboro, Mass., has announced that Michael D. Hashem, a driver for the company, received the Environmental Industries Association’s Driver of the Year Award in the small company, commercial carrier category.
Hashem has been driving all types of vehicles for the past 22 years. In addition to being a safe driver, he has distinguised himself as a “roadside Good Samaritan.”
