Joe Szany has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing at American Baler Co., Bellevue, Ohio. He has been with the company since 1997, beginning as a sales manager. He also spearheaded the integration of the Lindemann line of high-production balers as part of American Baler’s acquisition of Svedala-Lindemann Limited.

Laura K. Bruner has been named customer service representative at awp Industries Inc., Frankfort, Ky. Bruner will be responsible for quotation inquiries and order placement and serve as a primary contact with material handling dealers for American Wire Products. She was previously with Computrex Logistics Inc., Nicholasville, Ky.

Mid America Port  Commission

Jim Langland has been elected to represent the state of Iowa in the Mid America Port Commission. Langland is vice president of Al-Jon Inc., Ottumwa, Wapello County, Iowa, and has business experience in the creation of inland intermodal transportation facilities in the West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa and Northeast Missouri area.

Annaco Inc.

Melinda J. Reinfeld has been promoted to assistant controller at Annaco Inc., Akron, Ohio. Reinfeld joined Annaco in 1992 as an assistant controller. She will be responsible for all internal reporting, internal controls and accounting systems.

American Pulverizer Co.

American Pulverizer Co., St. Louis,has named Glenn "Skip" Anthony as vice president of sales and service. Anthony returns to American Pulverizer after spending two years with Svedala Recycling. He had previously been with American Pulverizer for 24 years.

In his new role, Anthony will concentrate on sales and service of all equipment lines made or represented by American Pulverizer Co. and its affiliates, including Hustler Conveyor. He will also act as a regional sales manager for Lefort USA.
