Glenn “Skip” Anthony has accepted a position with Svedala Industries Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as product manager---Shredders for North America. Anthony has more than 27 years of experience in the recycling industry, most recently serving as vice president of sales and service for American Pulverizer. At American Pulverizer, he was involved in the design, sale and installation of shredding systems for ferrous, nonferrous and other materials.
HECKETT MULTISERV
John W. Cupps has been elected as vice president---administration of Heckett MultiServ, Butler, Pa. Cupps will be in charge of the company’s human resources, purchasing and safety activities. He was the director of purchasing for Heckett MultiServ before assuming his new position.
“John’s past performance, professional training and his familiarity with the worldwide steel industry make him extremely well qualified for his new responsibilities at Heckett MultiServ,” says company president K.F. Bruch.
BATTERY COUNCIL INTERNATIONAL
Ronald M. Pogue has been elected president of Battery Council International, Chicago, for the 1999-2000 term. Pogue is the director of Battery Business at Delphi Energy & Engine Management Systems. Prior to being named president, he served on the BCI board of directors since 1995.
NORTHEAST RECYCLING COUNCIL
The Northeast Recycling Council, Brattleboro, Vt., has appointed Lynn Rubinstein of Conway, Mass., as its executive director. Rubinstein has been solid waste coordinator for the city of Northampton, Mass., for the past six years, and for the past two years coordinator of the Universal Waste Recycling Project, University of Massachusetts—Amherst.

Project Consultants & Associates Inc., Orlando, Fla., has appointed John B. Schmook, of Tallahassee, Fla., as a senior associate for the consulting firms’ industrial recycling practices. Schmook is the former president and owner of Capitol Recycling in Tallahassee.
ALBERT BROS. INC.
Eric Albert has been named president of Albert Bros. Inc., a scrap metal processor in Waterbury, Conn. He has worked for the company for 14 years, most recently as vice president.
Fred Perugini has been named executive vice president.
