Andrew (Drew) Luntz, a fifth-generation member of an Ohio scrap family, has been named president of the Cleveland division of Detroit-based Ferrous Processing & Trading LLC (FPT).

He most recently served as president and chief financial officer for Luntz Services Corp., Canton, Ohio. Luntz has also served as a senior vice president of operations for Philip Services Corp., Hamilton, Ontario, as well as being the president and chief operating officer of the former Luntz Corp., Canton.

Luntz’ great, great grandfather, Samuel Luntz, founded the Canton Iron and Metal Co. That company eventually evolved into Luntz Corp., which was acquired by Philip Services Corp. in 1997

In his position as president for FPT Cleveland, Luntz will oversee the operations of FPT’s Cleveland facilities, which include an auto shredder and other processing equipment, specializing in the preparation and delivery of obsolete and industrial scrap. “In addition to managing what’s there, I am looking forward to future growth and taking advantage of opportunities as they become available,” says Luntz.

FPT operates 12 scrap metal facilities in North America, processing more than three million tons of scrap annually.

American Baler Co.

Roger Williams has been promoted to the position of West Coast regional sales manager at American Baler Co. His new responsibilities will include sales and dealer support for American Baler and Lindemann-American Baler product lines. He will serve dealers in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Miller Electric Mfg. Co.

Mike Weller has been named president of Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Appleton, Wisc. He will be responsible for sales, marketing, manufacturing and finance areas of the company in North America, South America and Central America. Weller has been with the company since 1981 in several capacities, including vice president/general manager.

Steco

Michael S. Turley has been named president of Steco, Enid, Okla., a division of Blue Tee Corp. “Over the past three years Steco’s operations have improved significantly and the company has realized outstanding sales growth and fiscal performance,” says William M. Kelly, CEO of Blue Tee Corp. Turley joined the company in 1994 as a marketing and sales manager.
