The NEXGEN Galaxy2R series of two-ram balers are ideal high-productivity machines for recyclers and solid waste operations. The machines are well suited for use at MRFs, distribution centers and at large paper, plastic and light metal recycling facilities.
The Galaxy2R two-ram series offers many of the technological advances found in the TIEger Series, including the Maestro Touchscreen Operator Interface, laser ram control and ultrasonic tie positioning.
Additionally, Galaxy2R models can be equipped with the NexDoor multi-purpose door, which serves as a bale separator, oversized bale release and bale clamp all in one. The NexDoor can be adjusted to suit variable bale dimensions.
Laser positioners provide accurate ram position readings for extending and retracting the ram, which saves wear and tear on the hydraulic system. Upper and lower infrared actuators control the cycling of the baler.
To make the machine maintenance friendly, NEXGEN developed a shear beam that allows the body shear blades to be adjusted from the exterior. Both the body shear blade and the ram shear blade are replaceable and adjustable.
Also included are the full penetration ram and automatic wire tier.
Vertical Technology
For companies that place balers at customer locations as part of their operations, the NEXGEN line of vertical, downstroke balers provides the ideal solution.
The V-6030HD can be placed at warehouses and retail sites to produce bales of cardboard, paper, plastic, aluminum cans and other recyclables conveniently and quietly. The V-6030HD features a side-mounted power unit for easy maintenance access and a front access panel box as well as a programmable smart relay control system to provide diagnostic and troubleshooting assistance. A time-saving feature, the automatic bale ejector is standard on all units.
Other options available include:
•
Front Bale Tie-off that allows the unit to be placed in a corner wall application•
Bale-Made Light that illuminates when the bale is ready for ejection•
Quick Disconnect for easy lock-out, tag-outBuilt in the U.S.A., NEXGEN vertical balers can be ordered in sizable quantities and manufactured and delivered by NEXGEN to meet customer deadlines.
Taking the First Steps
The NEXGEN EZ-TRAX conveyor line offers an array of configurations to suit any and all recycling plant configurations, including sliderbeds, combination belt, N-pan, hinged steel belt, apron and trough conveyors.
A baling system from NEXGEN can include conveyors designed and fabricated to match the output expected from the baler, creating a seamless system from the tipping floor to the finished bale.
Whether handling scrap metals, secondary fibers or mixed residential materials, NEXGEN is keenly aware of the importance of sizing the conveyor with the baler for maximum productivity.
