RIGBY 28

The Rigby 28 is Rigby Machinery’s newest model in its wire stripper line. The new, smaller model has a 3-horsepower motor that gives it the necessary torque to strip cables with an outside diameter measuring from 1/8-inch to 3 inches. The cutting blade and feed rolls are heat treated to provide extra durability.  

FHE TUB GRINDER

The EarthSaver S10-325 is a new roll-off tub grinder available from Fuel Harvesters Equipment (FHE). The stationary grinder can be transported by truck without the need for a transport permit, according to FHE. The tub grinder is powered by a 325-horsepower diesel engine and features 2.5-inch thick hammers that can process wood up to 36 inches in diameter.

SATURN SHREDDER EJECTING SIDE WALL

An ejecting side wall modification is now available from the Saturn Shredders division of MAC Corp. A door that can be placed in the side wall of Saturn’s shredders hydraulically opens to eject unshreddable problem materials that would otherwise require the operator to clear the hopper and manually remove the material. In the automated Saturn process, the machine’s operators need only initiate an ejection process.

ANDELA WINDSHIELD STRIPPER SYSTEM

Andela Tool & Machine Inc. is marketing a windshield stripper system that separates glass from the polyvinyl butyral (PVB) plastic laminate of windshields. The Andela Windshield Recycling System produces clean, homogeneous glass that is free from PVB and ready for recycling. The technology is being licensed to Andela by Glassgo LLC.

VIBRA SCREW LINER TENSIONING DEVICE

Vibra Screw Inc. has introduced a new Liner Tensioning Device designed to eliminate the possibility of bulk bag liners blocking discharge or becoming entangled in a feeder or other downstream device. The device exerts a steady tension on the liner and pulls it up and away from the discharge as its contents lighten. Vibra Screw says the product, designed with safety in mind, has no high-tension springs.

JOHN DEERE 410E

The new 410E backhoe loader from John Deere features an improved hydraulic system and structural design that has made for a smoother, quicker and more productive machine, according to the company. Other improvements include a more powerful engine, greater lift capacity and greater digging force as well as faster transport speed. A four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine powers the 410E, which has a loader lift capacity of 7,200 pounds and a reach at maximum height of 30 inches. The backhoe can dig up to 15 feet, 10 inches deep and lift more than 6,000 pounds.

CASE CORP. TRANSMISSIONS

Case Corp. is now offering remanu-factured transmissions for its 590 Super L loader/backhoe and for older model Case wheel loaders that use Clark transmissions. The L Series transmission has a 12-month or 1,500-hour warranty. The wheel loader transmission has a 12-month or 2,000-hour warranty.

GALA CUTTER HUB

A new self-aligning cutter hub has been introduced by Gala Industries Inc. The new hub for underwater pelletizers allows users to compensate for “less than perfect” alignment of the die and blades, according to Gala. The new product also provides more accurate blade-to-die contact during start up and can compensate for slight blade length variation when new blades are installed.

Abanaki Oil Grabber

Abanaki Corp. has introduced its Abanaki Oil Grabber Model 4, which offers improved oil removal capability in a variety of systems and applications. The new model has wider, deeper troughs that allow it to accept more viscous oil. It can also handle oil temperatures up to 212 degrees F. The Model 4 can be used in a variety of applications, including wastewater sumps, coolant systems, and underground tanks.
