BRYANT PRODUCTS TELESCOPER WARRANTY

Bryant Products is offering a five-year warranty on all telescopers equipped with grease fittings. The telescopers are designed to ensure that conveyor belt take-ups will perform as intended without freeze-up or other functional problems. The telescopers are also designed to reduce both time and physical effort needed to maintain conveyor belt tension and tracking settings.

PRAB INC. CONVEYOR LITERATURE

Prab Inc. has produced a brochure that outlines the features of its free-floating Harpoon conveyors. The scrap handling conveyor systems are designed to transfer metal chips and turnings from machining centers to central chip processing areas. The Harpoon systems can be used for steel, brass, cast iron, and aluminum applications.

KAESER COMPRESSOR FLOW CONTROLLER

The Kaeser Flow Controller (KFC) from Kaeser Compressors is designed to reduce the energy costs associated with compressed air. At 8 cents per kilowatt hour, a 100 hp compressor can consume up to $60,000 in annual energy costs in some applications. The KFC, through a design that separates the supply side of a compressor from the distribution system, has created a storage method for accumulated compressed air. The device can save up to 40 percent of energy costs by eliminating the distribution of this “artificially demanded” air.

ROPAK 17-INCH TALL REUSABLE CONTAINER

The new 4517 reusable container from Ropak Materials Handling Group features 17-inch high walls for greater storage space. The 4517 measures 45 inches x 48 inches by 17 inches high.

HAGGLUNDS DRIVES SPIDER CONTROLS

The Spider is a new drive control from Hagglunds Drives designed for shredders and variable ratio two-roll mills. According to Hagglunds, Spider drives are easy to install, simple to learn, and easy to operate. Parameters are set using a keypad while other information is shown on the display.

MELROE 337 BOBCAT EXCAVATOR

The Melroe Co. has introduced its C-Series Bobcat 337. The compact excavator has a dump height of 12 feet, 6 inches and a ground level reach of 18 feet, nine inches. The new machine’s highest dipper breakout force is 6,050 pounds.

JCB INC. WHEEL LOADER

Construction equipment manufacturer JCB Inc. has added a 197 net horsepower wheel loader to the product line it offers in North America. The 456B ZX wheel loader is the largest of JCB’s recently upgraded Series B articulated wheel loaders and tool carriers. The 456B ZX features a dual-piston pump hydraulic system and a carry control system designed to reduce machine bounce and increase operator comfort.
