ADVANCE LIFTS PORTABLE BOX BALER
Advance Lifts has added a high performance, low profile AR-500 portable baler to its product line. The baler is designed for the compacting of corrugated boxes. The AR-500 is set on large casters and rolls easily into place. Bale weight can be controlled so bales are easy to manage.
PORTA-KING MOBILE STATIONS
Porta-King Building Systems is offering a 6 by 12 foot mobile control station unit featuring two electrically operated barrier gates. An onboard diesel generator supplies electric power to the unit. Tinted glass provides 360-degree visibility and internal temperature control when combined with R-10 thermal insulation. The unit can be used as an on-site operations center at C&D and other work sites.
PROTECTOSEAL SAFETY CABINETS
The Protectoseal Co. introduced a new line of safety cabinets made of 18-gage steel and complying with NFPA and OSHA standards. The cabinets, designed for hazardous materials storage, have a leak-proof two-inch bottom well. Yellow flammable liquid cabinets hold up to two 55-gallon drums while blue acid-resistant cabinets hold containers from 15 to 60 gallons. Red cabinets for Class III combustible liquids hold 40 to 60-gallon containers of paints and inks.
BEZNER BUCKET SCREENS
A new bucket screen that automatically separates waste and recyclables into as many as four specific fractions has been introduced by Bezner America LLC. Separation and throughput of the bucket are similar to what a large trom-mel produces and the bucket is designed to operate without clogging, binding or spearing.
The new bucket screens have been redesigned using lighter components, and there is also a mobile version. The bucket does not rely on fines falling through screen openings as with a trommel. Rather, they are collected in the buckets and discharged at the high point when the bucket tips over.
FLEXCO CONVEYOR BELT CLEANER
Flexco introduced a new conveyor belt cleaner, the Eliminator. The unit features a patent-pending I-Power tensioner design that keeps blades perpendicular to the belt. The Eliminator has a compact design needing less than eight inches of vertical clearance. The Eliminator and its tungsten-carbide tips are installed behind the head pulley, which allows removed materials to drop at the transfer point, keeping more material in the product stream.
ROUGHDECK FLOOR SCALES
Rice Lake Weighing Systems’ Rough-Deck series floor scales are offered in four low-profile and three specialty versions. The scales have component interchangeability and different construction materials to meet industry requirements. The scales feature a six-inch structural channel frame .
CATERPILLAR MATERIAL HANDLERS
Caterpillar Inc. is offering the 325B MH and 330B MH material handlers, designed for moving scrap and demolition debris. The two machines, with added horsepower, replace the 325 MH and the 330 MH. The 325B has a maximum horizontal reach of almost 44 feet while the 330B extends about 47 feet. Counterweights on both models are heavier than standard to balance the machine while handling large loads at extended reaches. Both models have six-cylinder, turbocharged aftercool diesel engines with the Automatic Engine Control feature.
DIALOG ELITE ALARM SYSTEM
Antx Inc. introduced the DiaLog Elite, an automatic alarm notification system. “In Elite, we have created the industry’s first completely field upgradeable alarm dialer,” says Stephen Allen, president of Antx. DiaLog Elite can monitor up to 48 analog and or digital inputs providing alarm notification to phones, cell phones, pagers and personal computers.
