New look, same dedication

Shared Logic has updated its look, but its commitment to the recycling industry has remained steadfast.

Since the pandemic, Shared Logic has evolved into a more nimble and modern company, which includes embracing remote work. That has allowed the software company to expand its talent pool of developers, further strengthening the firm. Now, after 40-plus years, Shared Logic has debuted a refreshed look that better reflects its emphasis on innovation and growth.

“We felt that after 40-plus years, rebranding was a chance for us to redefine ourselves,” says Perry Jacobs, president of the Shared Logic Group Inc., Holland, Ohio. “It’s not just a new look; it’s a statement of innovation and a way to show our customers that we are embracing growth while continuing to adhere to our core values.”

Shared Logic Sales Manager Clint Matthews and Project Coordinator Tyler Porter led the rebranding effort with the help of a third-party marketing firm. The symbology behind the Shared Logic name and brand stood for the “sharing” of ideas. While the blue shades of the streamlined logo and the new website at www.sharedlogic.com are a radical departure from the previous brand, customers will find the same dedicated team and customer-driven products they have come to expect from Shared Logic.

The company’s evolution extends to its product offering, which will include more web-based solutions moving forward.

More than 4,300 (and growing) end users use the company’s RIMAS™ NT/P software as their primary accounting and operational software. Shared Logic’s suite of software solutions addresses the accounting, management and operational needs of recycling companies that range from single-location yards to those with hundreds of locations. Its next generation of products continues the company’s tradition of providing tailored solutions to its customers that meet them where they are.

That tradition of responding to customers’ needs has led Shared Logic to begin developing a hybrid platform that features browser-centric access, allowing clients to determine whether their data is hosted in the cloud or on-site.

Unlike some competitors that offer web-based software, Shared Logic provides a full suite of solutions that includes RIMAS™ NT/P, the company’s recycling industry management and accounting system, RIMAS™ MMC (Maintenance Management & Control), the RIMAS™ Online client portal, Mobile Dispatch and E-Doc Executive.

Shared Logic has attained its success in part by emphasizing its customers in the product development process. Despite its new look, that credo of sharing remains core to the company’s approach to product development.
