Moley Magnetics Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of scrap lifting magnet and grapples headquartered in Newfane, N.Y., has been selected by LGR Demolition, headquartered in Italy, to manufacture a new line of hydraulic shears.
In a release, Moley Magnetics notes that the new mobile hydraulic shear incorporates the best of the all shear technology in its new HSS Titanium Shear line. These shears are available with and without rotation from 1 to 10 tons in size.
Moley adds that the shear offers a combination of technologies that has not been available in a shear before. For example a second guide blade on the cutting side allows for precise shimming in the piercing tip area, reducing potential jams in the jaw. Also, the double auto guide (slide puck) provides more consistent trouble-free operation. Four turn blades and speed valves are standard, as well as a super reinforced totally enclosed upper body to protect the cylinder and prevent distortion.
