The company began by recycling lead acid batteries but branched out by collecting all types of spent batteries in the 90s. It operates out of two Facilities, one in Howell, Mich., and the other in Mesa, Ariz.
BSI specializes in helping government, private business and households recycle every type of battery and all other Universal Waste. Its founder sought to help protect companies from the liability involved in mismanaging their spent lead acid batteries for recycling as well as divert dry cell batteries from landfills.
