Brockport, New York-headquartered electronics recycling and information technology (IT) asset management company Sunnking has announced the addition of Fred Parody as its newest IT asset disposition (ITAD) account manager, reporting to the company's Director of ITAD Phil Bove.

Parody has more than a decade of recycling industry experience, according to a news release issued by Sunnking. Most recently, he served as a key account manager for Sims Lifecycle Services. Before that, Parody was an account manager for Universal Recycling Technologies in Wisconsin.

"Companies and IT professionals know Sunnking to be one of the best names in ITAD, and I'm beyond excited to join this team," Parody says.

"At Sunnking, we believe our roots rely with our customers, and Fred understands the qualities and strengths of our services better than anyone," Adam Shine, Sunnking vice president, says. "For more than a decade, he has helped clients with their recycling and electronics recycling needs. I, and we as a company, are thrilled to work alongside Fred in his new role, and I know business clients in areas like New York and Massachusetts will be, too."

Parody has been credentialed by the International Association of IT Asset Managers (IAITAM), headquartered in Canton, Ohio, Sunnking says. IAITAM is the professional association for individuals and organizations involved in any aspect of IT asset management, software asset management, hardware asset management and life cycle processes supporting IT asset management.

Founded in 2000, Sunnking refers to itself as New York state's first R2/RIOS (Responsible Recycling Practices/Recycling Industry Operating Standard) certified electronics recycling, data destruction and IT asset management company. With facilities in Buffalo, Brockport and Utica, New York, Sunnking specializes in collecting, refurbishing, reselling and recycling electronic products from residential, commercial and municipal customers.
