AGGLOREX N.V.

Agglorex N.V. of Lommel, Belgium, has improved the efficiency of its foam processing system through the installation of a Model 3400-H (200-horsepower) slow-speed, high-torque shredder manufactured by SSI shredding Systems Inc., Wilsonville, Ore.

The hydraulic shredder’s large infeed opening can accept and shred entire bales of foam, as well as loose scraps, saving time and effort in the material handling process. The regular slow-speed processing of the shredder delivers a controlled stream of consistently sized material to the downstream granulators, improving granulator efficiency and online reliability, lowering maintenance, and increasing throughput.
