Luntz Corp., Canton, Ohio, has installed a Harris Model HRB-1020W Automatic Two-Ram Baling Press manufactured by Harris Waste Management Group Inc., Peachtree City, Ga. Currently, Luntz handles about 1 million pounds of aluminum per month.
LINDEMANN
Lindemann Recycling Co. Inc., Charlotte, N.C., recently received an order for four RAM I 220R balers from the National Ecology Co. for the Monmouth County Reclamation Facility in Tinton Falls, N.J. The balers will be used in the material processing and recovery facility under construction at an existing landfill where recyclables will be recovered and municipal solid waste will be baled before it is landfilled.
The four Lindemann balers will have a capacity of 55 tons per hour and a density of 55 pounds per cubic feet. Three of the four balers will be used to bale 1,300 tons of MSW per day. The fourth baler will serve as back up and provide extra capacity during peak load periods. The RAM 220R is one of the largest single-ram balers made by Lindemann.
