Wendt Corp., Tonawanda, N.Y., recently sold a Bonfiglioli Portable Logger/Baler to Roger Marth of Marth Hauling Inc., Northhampton, Pa. Wendt is the exclusive North America distributor for Bonfiglioli of Bologna, Italy.
AL-JON
Omnisource Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind., has purchased a new Impact V Car Crusher and 1100 Loader from Al-jon Inc., Ottumwa, Iowa. This marks the fifth loader and the fifth crusher that the company has purchased from Al-jon.
PRESONA
Presona Inc., Waco, Texas, has installed an LP50DH baler at the Champion Paper facility in Laverne, Tenn. The horizontal, single-ram extrusion model is the eighth Presona baler installed at a Champion facility in the U.S.
REXWORKS INC.
Rexworks Inc., Milwaukee, has shipped a Maxigrind 460 unit across the Atlantic Ocean for use by a British firm. Ralph Avis Recycling Ltd., Runcom, U.K., has expanded its C&D waste processing capabilities with the new horizontal rotary waste grinder. The Maxigrind 460 is designed to reduce green waste, demolition debris, some paving materials and plastics.
THE PLASTICS GROUP
The Plastics Group, Woonsocket, R.I., and Blairsville, Ga., has added scrap film pelletizing to its list of services. The company recently added densifying equipment at its two facilities that will allow it to convert scrap film into extruded pellets. The toll processing company is accepting loose film, roll stock, and baled product from film users.
n BUILTRITE
Northshore Manufacturing Inc., Two Harbors, Minn., has installed a grapple-equipped Builtrite Material Handler at a Texas foundry. The Builtrite equipment is being used at a new 45,000-square-foot facility operated by EBAA Iron Inc. of Abilene, Texas. The Texas iron products company uses overhead cranes equipped with magnets to feed the electric furnaces at its other two facilities.
