The International Molded Pulp Environmental Packaging Association formed a consortium of molded pulp product producers, users and machinery manufacturers to conduct research on the properties and behavior of molded pulp as a protective packaging material.
The IMJPEPA is undertaking the project to promote the use of waste fiber for packaging to reduce the volume of non-biodegradable packaging materials entering landfills.
