GDB International Inc., based in Edison, N.J., has opened a new warehouse in New Brunswick, N.J., that is housed in a building that “enhances productivity, conserves the Earth’s resources and contributes to the company’s financial success,” according to a press release issued by the company.
According to Sunil Bagaria, president of GDB International, the new warehouse reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability by incorporating LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
The 110,000-square-foot facility will operate as the hub of GDB’s ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap operations. This facility has active rail siding to help provide cost-effective end-to-end logistics solutions. GDB says it has invested considerable resources in the building for handling various recyclable commodities.
GDB International is an exporter of overstock and discontinued inventory and recyclable commodities, shipping more than 2,500 domestic and overseas containers per year. More information is available at www.gdbinternational.com/.
