Georgia-Pacific Gypsum officially opened its Wheatfield, Ind., gypsum plant. The facility is geared to handle 350,000 tons of waste gypsum a year.
The venture cost $65 million. It received assistance from the Indiana Department of Commerce, as well as grants and zero interest loans from other agencies in the state.
