Moving Up With O’Neil

Excel Archives of Sterling, Va., and ArchivesOne of Waterbury, Conn., have been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest growing privately held companies in America for 2004. In addition to sharing this distinction, both records management companies use RS-SQL from O’Neil Software, which they say lends them a competitive advantage.

Jeff Fredrick, chief technology officer of Excel Archives, whose customers consist of D.C. area medical institutions, architects, accountants, banks and law firms, says, "In this tough economic environment, we needed a complete, competitively priced software solution designed by records managers for records managers. We also knew that O’Neil would be with us for the long-term as we grew and enhanced our record-keeping operations."

Jonathan D’Elia, senior vice president of sales and marketing of ArchivesOne, says, "We have recently completed our 22nd acquisition in the records management industry and now have over a million square feet of space storing files. Partnering with O’Neil has been great because their software solutions have helped our integration process with new acquisitions."

O’Neil’s software solutions help records centers manage and track multiple types of data, from deposit to destruction, work order to invoice, contributing to the record centers’ productivity and profitability.

Miller becomes ceo of Andrews Software

Andrews Software Inc. (ASI) owner Lee Miller is now the president and CEO of the Cleveland-based firm, while former General Manager Scott Bidwell is now the vice president of sales and marketing.

Having recently sold Andrews Records Management and Andrews Destruction Services to Cintas Document Management, Miller says he is ready to devote 100 percent of his energies toward ASI’s continued growth.

"I have nearly 20 years of industry knowledge and have always enjoyed the challenges of the software world," says Miller. "I am excited about the opportunity to work solely toward building and expanding upon the dynamic solutions Scott and the team have developed since we started in 1984."

Leading the charge for growth is newly named VP of Sales and Marketing Scott Bidwell, who will now oversee new initiatives and business development.

Bidwell says, "One of ASI’s key strengths has always been its first-hand understanding of how the information management industry really works and then developing software solutions which complement and enhance those processes. Technology solutions are growing and changing quickly today—not only in the information management industry, but throughout the business community. I look forward to working with Lee and the entire ASI Team as we continue to grow and move forward."

ASI offers a family of industry-tailored, proven software solutions for off-site information management companies.
