BOLLEGRAAF BALERS FIND INDIANA HOMES
Van Dyk Baler Corp., Stamford, Conn., has sold equipment to two separate Indiana locations.
Random House Inc. has purchased a Bollegraaf system for its book destruction plant in Crawfordsville, Ind.
The system is comprised of a Bollegraaf HBS 75/1200 shredder, an HBC-40 baler and a series of transportation and storage conveyors.
Random House plans to process 20.5 tons per day of hardcover books, 24.5 tons per day of paperback books and 10 tons per day of non-recyclables.
Also, Trinity Recycling has bought a Bollegraaf HBC 110F baler with a paper ruffler for its Indianapolis plant.
Trinity also operates a Bollegraaf HBC-50 and an HBC-80 in New Jersey.
LIEBHERR OWNER VISITS REPUBLIC CRANE
Willi Liebherr, owner of European appliance and equipment maker The Liebherr Group, recently visited the new corporate headquarters of Republic Crane and Equipment Co., Charlotte, N.C.
Republic Crane and Equipment is the U.S. master distributor for Liebherr material handlers serving the scrap metal processing and mill service industries.
"We are happy that Mr. Liebherr took the time out of his busy schedule to help dedicate our new facility," says Bill Allen, President of Republic Crane. "Mr. Liebherr has always been a very supportive advocate for our business. We are proud to represent such a fine company, and our new building will help us grow our mutual business over the coming years," he adds.
