A one-page pro-proposal is due on April 4, with a final proposal due June 1.
Up to $25,000 per project is available for the following types of initiative:
Infrastructure Development; Assess Local Inputs and Outputs; Reuse and Remanufacturing; Develop and Remanufacturing; Develop Recycled Products Manufacturers or Enterprises; Financial and Technical Incentives; and other categories.

The Chelsea Center also announced the release of a Request for Response to researchers at accredited public and private universities and colleges and/or private research institutions, to develop innovations that would increase the demand for recyclable materials by industries in Massachusetts. The research focuses on the demand side of the recycling process.
Proposals are due April 19. Final selections will be made at the end of May for work to be carried out between July 1, 2000-June 30, 2001.
