Every year the world's pulp and paper industry meets in Montreal. Decision-makers will discuss business conditions and learn about new technologies. In attendance at PaperWeek are paper company CEOs, marketing vice-presidents, mill managers, superintendents, engineers, scientists, researchers as well as representatives from publishing firms and allied industries.
PaperWeek 2000 which will be held in Montreal from January 31 - February 4. The 86th Annual Meeting of PAPTAC will feature close to 200 technical presentations from experts at more than 30 sessions covering a myriad of topics such as mechanical pulping, newsprint, alkaline pulping, research and development, professional development, engineering, multi-ply board, process control, fine and coated papers, bleaching.
EXFOR 2000 will hold its 42nd anniversary and will display the latest science and technology devoted to the manufacturing of pulp, paper and board.
In addition, a series of Open Forums is organized by the CPPA and traditionally addresses market trends in market pulp, recycling, paperboard, etc.
