IFCO Makes Acquisitions
IFCO Systems N.V., based in Amsterdam, has made agreements to purchase two of the largest pallet recycling companies in the U.S.
IFCO has agreed to acquire the businesses of Texas Pallet, Houston, (and related companies conducting business under the name National Pallet) and has also acquired Bromley Pallet Recyclers, Tampa.
Texas Pallet is the second largest pallet recycling and services business in the U.S. behind IFCO Systems and its U.S. subsidiary known as PalEx. Texas Pallet has operations in 11 facilities in seven states.
Bromley Pallet was the third largest pallet recycler in the U.S., with 15 facilities in nine states in the South and Midwest.
